Last night, we awarded our first ever beneficiary of our new annual Petey Fund – created as a way to recognize more worthy causes and organizations in our community that share our mission of eradicating cancer and caring for patients and their families. We’re proud to announce that this year’s recipient of the $11,000 award is P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative.
For more than 12 years, P.U.N.T. has been providing critical and comprehensive financial, emotional, and practical support to families in Western New York facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis. From helping pay bills for offsetting medical expenses to providing gas cards, P.U.N.T. works to fill gaps for those in the fight and operates in collaboration from hospital partners to ensure every dollar raised gets channeled where it’s needed most. And they’re doing amazing work!
